Jackson Pollock x Sakura

Jackson Pollock inspired nature photography by Ross Edghill
Whilst walking around on a spring day I decided to visit Inokashira Koen and take a stroll through this beautiful park.
Whenever I have my camera with me, I always feel like I am searching for something and on this day as I looked up I noticed how the sun was beginning to beam through the Sakura. The silhouetted shapes of the petals arranged around the branches immediately struck me as splashes of paint across a canvas and very reminiscent of the work from Jackson Pollock.
These are just a few development photos I have begun working on of this moment.
